Due to the strong enthusiasm of Mr. Dudley Senanayake and the urgent need for sufficient land for the Central School, the philanthropist and landowner of that time, Mr. Wijesundara Ralahami, generously agreed to donate approximately 2 acres of land for the establishment of the school.
