The Chief Commissioner of Sri Lanka Scouts made a surprise and inspiring visit to KG/Dudley Senanayake Central College, Tholangamuwa, where our young scouts were actively participating in a Training Camp in preparation for the upcoming District Camp.
The camp was held under the commendable leadership of:
- Mr. H.S.D.L. Jayasooriya
- Mr. J.A.H.W.B. Jayasinghe
- Ms. B.R.C.J. Bandara
During his visit, the Chief Commissioner inspected the progress and activities conducted by the scouts. He also took the opportunity to engage directly with the scouts, providing them with valuable insights on the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and emphasizing the importance of the scouting movement in developing leadership, discipline, and community values.
We are honored by this visit and grateful for the encouragement and guidance extended to our scouts. This moment marks another proud step in our school’s continued commitment to holistic education through extracurricular excellence.
