Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, significant educational achievements were recorded in the year 2021:


1. Grade 5 Scholarship Examination

  • The pass rate was maintained at 30.00%, consistent with previous years, even amidst the pandemic.

2. G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination

  • A record-high pass percentage of 91.93% was achieved, marking a growth rate of 1.62% compared to the previous year.
  • Performance breakdown by top grades:
    • 15 students obtained 9 A grades (A9)
    • 20 students obtained 8 A grades (A8)
    • 14 students obtained 7 A grades (A7)
    • 17 students obtained 6 A grades (A6)

3. G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination – University Admissions

A total of 332 students passed the A-Level examination, with 130–150 students qualifying for university admission. The breakdown by stream is as follows:

  • Mathematics Stream:
    • 8 students gained admission to the Faculty of Engineering.
  • Biological Sciences Stream:
    • 14 students gained university admission.
    • Among them, 1 student was admitted to the Faculty of Medicine on their first attempt.
  • Technology Stream:
    • 13 students qualified for university.
  • Commerce Stream:
    • 20 students received university admission.
  • Arts Stream:
    • 40 students were granted university admission.
