On 16th May 2025, the esteemed Prefects’ Badge Awarding Ceremony of Dudley Senanayake Central College was held with great pride at the F.D. Serasinghe Memorial Hall. This significant event marked the official appointment of the 2025 Student Prefect Board.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, Brigadier Sagara Ranjan Wijedasa, Director of Rehabilitation of the Sri Lanka Army and a proud alumnus of the college. The Special Guest of Honour was Mrs. Sumithra Delgoda Arachchi, Director of Sports at the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Department of Education.
The event witnessed the participation of principals from neighbouring national schools, members of the academic staff, students, the Prefect Board, the Secretary of the Past Pupils’ Association, the School Development Society, and other esteemed invitees.
The ceremony underscored the college’s commitment to nurturing future leaders, instilling values of responsibility, discipline, and service.
